  • Disappointing

    I'm very disappointed that the author decided to drag out this series to 5 books. It was meant to be a trilogy!!! This book was supposed to be the LAST in the trilogy. I feel that the author is taking us readers for granted. That's the end of the Crossfire Series for me, you've lost a fan Sylvia Day!

    This 3rd book is a bit boring to be honest. Having read the first 2 books which I liked but weren't really that special I just wanted to finish the story. Was very disappointed that they story is being dragged out into 2 more books! What a sell out

    Not half as good as the first two books. Bit of a cop out with the view of making more money by extending the series. No story line of any substance and it should have finished their story here or made the book longer way to many loose ends but none of any interest as to what will happen.

    I really enjoyed the crossfire trilogy. Hoping for book 4 as I can't wait to find out what path each of the characters take. Highly recommended.

    Was so looking forward to what was supposed to have been the final installment of a trillogy. Even pre ordered it back in January so I could read it as soon as it was released. What a disappointment. Read it avidly only to find out there are to be another two books to follow. Well Ms Day you have lost my custom and a lot of others judging by the reaction of other what were fans.

    Has the potential to be as good as the first two books, however it looses it's momentum soon after the murder mystery is resolved! Which let the book down this time. There were no more twists and the desperation seemed unrealistic. Passion is still sizzling but their lives almost become boring when their complications are simplified. Seems like everything can be resolved with money which is something Eva allegedly admonishes. A bit disappointing after a long wait.

    Love this book..this series just keeps getting better. I wasn't mad on the ending though its a bit of a cliffhanger can't wait for the next one to come out now :)

    Couldnt wait for this book to come out, ridiculous it's was so long after the 2nd book but I did enjoy this trilogy so far, but this book was dragged out a bit, I couldn't believe it ended the way it did, wanted way more. I prefer this than Fifty Shades but EL James gave me answers to everything I needed to know on book 3, Silvia Day has just dragged it out way too long, yes she does say she has more to give, but she should have given a lot more to this book. Don't feel I am excited for the next book, as I did with this book coming out, but I hope she takes the time out to read reviews and make the next book way more interesting and give readers much much more, and have it come out sooner rather than later :(
